Directions: Grab paper and pencil. Solve these 3 x 3 system problems algebraically, using either the substitution method or the elimination (addition/subtraction) method.

1.
Solve this 3 x 3 linear system.
   3x = -6
    3y = -x - 17
    25 - 6z = 4x - 3y

2.
Solve this 3 x 3 linear system.
    x + y + z =
3
    x +
2y - z = 4
    2x + y + z = 5

3.
Solve this 3 x 3 linear system.

    x + y - z = 7
     4x + 2y - 3z = 21
     5x - 4y - 2z = 2

4.
Solve this 3 x 3 linear system:
     x + y - z = 4
     3x - y + 4z = -5
     6x - y + 3z = -9

5.
Solve this 3 x 3 linear system.
     3x - 3y + 3z = -3
     4x + y - 2z = 5
    -3x - 3y - 4z = -16
